Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Practitioner based in Mount Nelson, TAS. The General Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary healthcare services, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of a wide range of medical conditions. Responsibilities include conducting consultations, managing chronic illnesses, delivering family medicine services, and providing healthcare education. The practitioner will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic and patient-centered care to a diverse community.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Medicine and Primary Care
* Experience or specialization in Family Medicine and Chronic Disease Management
* Background in Nursing or other clinically relevant areas is advantageous
* Strong skills in Training and educating patients and families on health management
* Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or equivalent qualifications
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality care
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with cultural sensitivity
