Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of the kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and overseeing daily kitchen operations.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in middle to upper-level management within a large hotel or resort setting. You will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train up to 40 employees, including Chefs, Apprentices, and other kitchen staff.
Key responsibilities include maintaining exceptional product quality and service standards, collaborating with the Executive Chef on menu development, and ensuring adherence to workplace health and safety protocols.
To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent, a thorough knowledge of Food Safety and workplace health and safety practices, and a current driver's license.
