We are a family owned, compassionate and professional funeral service provider, dedicated to supporting families during their most difficult times. Our facilities are nestled peacefully in the tranquil setting of the Blue Mountains. When we established our funeral service in 1997, we sought to provide comfort and support during difficult times. Now, we host many services each year and gently guide our clients through their funeral plans and grief.
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Funeral & Memorial Administrator to join our team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring all administrative and coordination aspects of funeral arrangements are handled efficiently and compassionately.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answer incoming calls with professionalism and empathy
* Liaise with families, suppliers, and internal staff to coordinate funeral arrangements
* Book funeral services, venues, vehicles, and associated logistics
* Prepare and check funeral service paperwork
* Register and manage related documentation with government authorities
* Maintain accurate client and service records using MYOB
* Assist with general administrative duties as required
· Lead families through our memorial gardens, offering gentle guidance and support as they choose a final resting place for their loved ones.
About You:
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* High level of professionalism and empathy in dealing with grieving families
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite and Google platform
* Understanding of MYOB would be an advantage
* Previous experience in funeral services not necessary
* Possess a current drivers licence
* With a background in sales or customer solutions, you possess the unique ability to guide families through their options with patience and clarity. You are comfortable helping people make meaningful decisions and can address concerns with a gentle, supportive approach.
