Senior Medical Officer – General Practice Location: Northern WA – Kimberley region (approximately 220 km north‑east of Broome, population 3,511). The hospital has a 35‑bed capacity including a 7‑bed midwifery‑led maternity unit with 2 birthing suites and is staffed by District Medical Officers who collaborate with rotating junior doctors.
Contract: 02/06/2026 – 27/11/2026. Temporary position with a 2‑week minimum notice period.
Salary: AUD 2,700 per month (or $2,700.00/day).
Role: Senior Medical Officer in General Practice. Responsibilities include providing primary health care services, managing patient consultations, and contributing to hospital healthcare delivery.
Must be registered with AHPRA.
Must have the right to work in Australia.
