We are looking for a butcher or customer service person in Shepparton, with some work also in Echuca when required Must be every available for a min of every second Saturday. Award wages - customer service position is $24.28p/h - Butcher rate is depentant on experience.
Duties include but are not limited too
* Work independently and take responsibility for orders and products
* Making products in a timely & food safe manner, ensure all receipes are followed, All ingredents are fresh and all end products are dated and stored correctly.
* Break down beef, chicken, pork & lamb
* Rotate stock where required. Check use buy dates and reduce prices 3 days before expiry.
* Remove any items from the window that will not last another 3 days. Sell at a reduced price if posible.
* Assist with Ordering of Stock and reducing waste
* Keep the shop clean and presentable and maintain safety to the highest standard. Eg food safety diary.
* Cleaning is an essential part of running a butchery and its in everyones job description.
* Take responsibility to make sure all customers needs are met to the best of Family Butchers abilities and in a polite and professional manner.
