The Registered Nurse plays an integral role within the diverse healthcare team, delivering nursing services to patients and clients within the health service. Additionally, they take on leadership responsibilities by guiding, directing, and overseeing fellow nurses and care professionals in the team, including Assistants in Nursing and Enrolled Nurses, to ensure the provision of high-quality care for patients and clients.
This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks' notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.?

What you'll be doing
5. Delivery of optimum standards of nursing care to all patients/clients given the diversity in individual needs and expectations.
6. To contribute, in an environment of constant change, to improving the ways in which nurses and other members of the health care team work together to provide treatment, care and support to individuals and carers.
7. Undertakes nursing interventions to the level and scope of practice, to support the patient/client to achieve their health and wellbeing goals.
8. Coordinates nursing and health care to facilitate positive health outcomes.
9. Undertake?the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing interventions to achieve health goals.
10. Operate?in a collaborative care model, communicating effectively with patients, carers and other healthcare team members/colleagues regarding nursing care to support outcomes which meet the patient/client needs.
