About the role
BGS Windows is seeking a skilled Aluminium Window Fabricator to join our growing team in Bunbury, WA. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality aluminium windows and doors. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating aluminium components to precise specifications and assisting with the installation of glazing.
What you'll be doing
* Cutting, assembling, and fabricating aluminium window and door frames to meet customer specifications
* Preparing and installing glazing materials such as glass, seals, and hardware
* Operating power tools and machinery required for the fabrication process
* Ensuring a high level of workmanship and attention to detail
* Collaborating with the wider production team to meet deadlines and quality standards
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as an Aluminium Window Fabricator or Glazier, ideally within the manufacturing or construction industry
* Minimum 3 years of aluminium window fabrication/installation experience required
* Strong understanding of aluminium fabrication techniques and the safe use of power tools
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
* Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
