Quarry Site Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Quarry Manager to lead our Bass Point Quarry, situated in Shellharbour on the NSW South Coast. This role reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager Aggregates and offers a challenging opportunity for career growth and lifestyle balance.
As the Quarry Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site operations, including safety, environment, plant, equipment, and employee management. Your key objectives will be to achieve annual financial targets while delivering exceptional customer service and execution outcomes.
The successful candidate will have a strong leadership background and experience in managing complex business environments. They will possess excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage people to achieve goals
* Make business decisions impacting overall performance
* Manage day-to-day operations, including quarry development and environmental management
* Focus on rehabilitation and maintaining industry reputation as a responsible partner
Requirements:
* Tier 1 Quarry Manager Practicing Certificate (essential)
* Safety mindset with commitment to risk management and Zero Harm
* Ability to support continuous improvement across Supply Chain process
* Strong leadership mentality with proven track record in delivering transformational change
