About the team
We work with organisations to help them reduce the financial reporting burden. This includes identifying process improvements and technology solutions that can reduce the time taken to produce financial reports.
We focus on improving the quality of financial information and aligning accounting outcomes with the commercial outcomes achieved by organisations. By addressing accounting matters promptly and appropriately, we enhance the efficiency of the financial reporting process and reduce the burden of statutory reporting and compliance obligations. We are specialists in finance function transformation, accounting change, financial management, transaction accounting advice, and specialised finance outsourcing.
You will work as part of multi-disciplinary teams on various client projects, including financial and management reporting, digital finance transformation, and accounting advice. You'll gain valuable experience working with iconic clients and will have access to Deloitte's training and development programs, including support for further study.
About you
We're looking for candidates with:
* Bachelor's or equivalent degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
* CA qualification (or equivalent)
* At least 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, external audit, or a related area
* Skills in financial reporting, technical accounting, management accounting, or budgeting
* Experience delivering finance or accounting advisory projects or internal improvement activities
* Strong relationship management skills, including teamwork and collaboration
* Excellent technical accounting skills with experience applying accounting standards
* A strong work ethic and a desire for professional development
