Position Number: 6133 Location: Bungendore
The Package: $1,370.95 - $1,514.87 gross per week + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 8 of the QPRC Salary System 2025).
Full-time – 38 hours per week. 9-day fortnight conditions will apply.
Are you a skilled operator ready to step into a leadership role and help maintain the backbone of our regional infrastructure?
In this role you will:
· Provide daily supervision and support to the Pipes and Culverts team, overseeing construction, extension, and maintenance projects.
· Safely operate and maintain Council’s excavation plant and heavy vehicles to deliver high-quality road and drainage outcomes.
· Ensure worksite compliance with HSEQ standards, including the implementation of traffic control plans and safety protocols.
We are looking for someone who:
· Brings proven experience in civil construction and the leadership skills to effectively motivate a team and manage daily priorities.
· Holds a current NSW Class HR Driver’s Licence, White Card, and Work Zone Traffic Control (Controller & Implementer) tickets.
· Is a collaborative communicator who can manage on-site reporting and foster a positive, safety-first team culture.
