Financial Crime Compliance Advisor
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Crime Compliance Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Crime Compliance department, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures to mitigate financial crime risks.
Your primary responsibilities include conducting thorough risk assessments, drafting policy documents, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. You will work closely with senior management and other stakeholders to ensure a robust and effective financial crime compliance framework.
Key Responsibilities:

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of financial crime compliance obligations, including the AML/CTF Act and AUSTRAC guidance. You will have experience supporting financial services and banking sectors, particularly in financial crime compliance. Your background should include conducting AML/CTF risk assessments and managing regulatory changes. You will excel at building relationships with stakeholders, including senior management and regulators. Your analytical skills will help you proactively identify issues and develop business-oriented solutions. You are adaptable, collaborative, and committed to raising awareness of financial crime risks across the organization.
