Overview
Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and rapidly expanding provider with more than 45 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking an experienced Centre Cook to join our Woodcroft (Cobblestone) Service.
This position is a full-time role, working Mondays to Fridays.
Responsibilities
* Implement and modify (where required) a seasonal menu created by our nutritionist
* Maintain regular checks in compliance with the NSW Food Standards Code and Health Regulations
* Assist staff and families in providing high-quality education and care
* Collaborate with the staff and families to facilitate learning opportunities relevant to the educational program
* Maintain professional, supportive and respectful relationships between management, staff, families and children
About You
* Demonstrated Cook/Chef experience in the Aged Care or Early Childhood Education and Care sector
* An ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care is preferred but not mandatory
* Alternatively, a relevant Commercial Cooks qualification
* Food Handlers Basics Certificate
* Valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check
* Knowledge of Food Standards Codes, EYLF and NQS
