The Retail Liquor Specialists Group is an Australian Company who own and operate multiple liquor stores across NSW and ACT. This family owned company is now expanding its business operations further, to include an IGA supermarket and liquor store, at a green field site, based in Tamworth NSW.

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor

to join the team on 12 January 2026

Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), the role of the HR Advisor involves providing strong support to both RLSG's & IGA's management and staff; relating to HR functions, including recruitment, professional development, policies, and compliance. In the first instance the HR Advisor's main focus will be the recruitment, selection and onboarding of employees for the new site at Tamworth.

* 38 hours per week
* Competitive Salary – range of $87,000 - $100,000 dependent on experience

Essential Selection Criteria

1. Degree in Human Resources Management
2. Minimum two years' experience in a similar role
3. Strong (current) experience in recruitment, selection & induction processes
4. Demonstrated experience in Award interpretation and employment law
5. Highly developed conflict resolution skills to facilitate constructive conversations
6. Ability to work as part of a team and independently, demonstrating initiative and a problem-solving mindset
7. Excellent organisational skills
8. High level of integrity


Desirable Selection Criteria

1. A working knowledge of the General Retail Industry Award
2. Ability to use HR Information Systems for record keeping & data analysis
