This opportunity is ideal for a Diploma-qualified Lead Educator or someone currently working towards their Bachelor degree in Early Childhood who is looking to step into a dynamic leadership position.
The successful candidate will have a strong passion for delivering inclusive and engaging early childhood programs, building positive relationships with children, families, and educators, and growing their career in a nature-inspired environment.
About the Role
* Assist with daily operations including compliance, staffing, enrolments, and resources.
* Mentor and guide educators to deliver high-quality early learning programs.
* Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with families and the wider community.
* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and team wellbeing.
* Represent the centre with professionalism and warmth, both internally and externally.
* Step into the Centre Manager role when required to ensure smooth operations and consistent leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the implementation of daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
2. Guide educators in the delivery of high-quality early learning programs that cater to diverse needs.
3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
4. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation and excellence in all aspects of centre operations.
5. Represent the centre with professionalism and warmth, promoting its values and mission.
6. Take on additional responsibilities as needed, ensuring seamless centre operations and effective leadership.
What We're Looking For
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards Bachelor degree in Early Childhood.
* Experience as a Lead Educator or 2IC with leadership capabilities and a growth mindset.
* Sound knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications.
* Excellent communication and mentoring skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
* Passion for creating inclusive, engaging environments for both children and educators.
