You will lead safety initiatives across our healthcare operations, working closely with the executive team, other leaders, and staff to embed a culture of safety and wellbeing.
* Manage WHS risks across operations.
* Partner with teams to review, develop, and implement WHS strategies tailored to innovative healthcare settings.
* Manage risk assessments, incident management, and root cause analysis.
* Provide specialist advice on WHS legislation, infection prevention, manual handling, and hazardous substances.
* Participate in the development, implementation, and review of WHS policies, procedures, management plans, guidelines, and other documents as required.
Key responsibilities include:
* Responsible for management of WHS risks across operations.
* Deliver targeted training and education to clinical and non-clinical staff.
* Monitor safety performance and drive continuous improvement across operations.
Requirements include:
* Qualifications in WHS, Nursing, Allied Health, or other related clinical discipline.
* Extensive experience in a WHS role within a healthcare/clinical setting.
* Strong understanding of safety legislation, infection control, and clinical governance.
* Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels.
A South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain) is required. If successful, willing and able to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations.
