The Role
The Senior Marketing Manager is the brand guardian for Nook Collections. You are responsible for defining our long-term marketing strategy and leading the daily execution of that strategy to ensure a consistent luxury experience across every customer touchpoint. Reporting directly to the Founder and working alongside our Strategic Consultant, you will lead the internal team and agency partners while staying personally \"on the tools\" in the setup of campaigns, digital performance and automation.
Your goal is to protect Nook's high-end editorial style while driving commercial growth through a data-driven approach to the customer journey and seamless alignment with our sales team.
Key Responsibilities
This position is accountable for the following key areas:
* Strategy & execution: Lead the development and execution of the 12-month marketing roadmap and budget to achieve sustainable revenue growth across B2B and B2C channels.
* Brand stewardship & creative excellence: Act as the final brand guardian and creative QA, ensuring every visual asset, social post, and campaign reflects Nook Collections' premium editorial aesthetic.
* Editorial & content production: Personally lead the design and layout of high-end marketing tools - such as digital lookbooks, e-guides, and collection-specific social assets - to ensure a best-in-class visual experience.
* Digital ecosystem & platform integrity: Accountable for the health and performance of the brand's digital touchpoints, including the management of the Shopify platform's integrity. You ensure all product uploads are accurate, on-brand and timely.
* Customer lifecycle & marketing automation: Drive customer acquisition and retention by personally managing and optimising the HubSpot CRM, email workflows and data-driven re-engagement campaigns.
* Leadership & stakeholder management: Manage the daily output of the marketing team and external agencies while aligning marketing efforts with sales floor insights.
Essential Skills & Experience
* 5-7+ years in marketing, with experience in a luxury, premium or design-led brand.
* Proven ability to develop a marketing strategy and manage a complex budget based on ROI.
* Advanced, hands-on experience with HubSpot (CRM, automation and workflows) and Shopify (e-commerce and CMS).
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
* The ability to move seamlessly between high-level creative strategy and the \"doing\" of graphic design and layout.
* Strong analytical skills with experience in Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics.
* Experience managing and coordinating assistants, overseas contractors and marketing agencies.
* A sophisticated editorial aesthetic; the ability to act as a \"Brand Guardian\" and provide technical creative direction.
Desirable
* Understanding of interior design, architecture or luxury homewares.
* Existing relationships within the Australian Architecture & Design (A&D) media landscape.
* A degree or qualification in Marketing, Communications or Interior Design.
* Previous experience in a high-growth environment where you move between strategy and daily implementation.
