Job Description:
This role provides clinical oversight and operational guidance to ensure high-quality, safe, and meaningful client-centered care across aged care services.
The Clinical Lead is responsible for overseeing day-to-day clinical care and supports in home care services, ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and the BCR Care and Clinical Governance Framework.
In this role, you will develop strong relationships with care partners, clinical staff, and leadership teams to champion quality and safety practices while supporting continuous improvement.
You will also coach and mentor team members to deliver quality outcomes for clients and build a positive culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to enhancing, revising, and executing clinical policies and procedures.
* Support performance improvement and quality activities, including participating in clinical audits.
* Provide supervision and support to the clinical team for general practice, assessments, care plan development, monitoring, and review.
* Develop and implement competency-based training and procedures relating to clinical care services wide.
* Complete in-home clinical assessments, care planning, and clinical support as required.
* Report and attend committees and meetings to contribute clinical expertise and advice.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Prior experience in a clinical leadership position, preferably within community health or aged care.
* Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills to provide safe and effective care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Highly developed organizational and prioritization skills.
* Demonstrated self-awareness and ability to work autonomously and cooperatively in a team.
