System Engineer Role
This is a key position that involves providing technical support to various clients. As an advisor, you will investigate and resolve issues related to systems, applications, and connectivity to ensure seamless performance.
* Client Support: Assist clients over the phone, email, or in person with troubleshooting devices, software, and network connections.
* Infrastructure Management: Set up and maintain desktops, apps, and other equipment for optimal functionality.
* New Employee Onboarding: Help new employees get started with accounts, email, and necessary access.
* Broad System Oversight: Monitor servers, networks, and security, ensuring timely updates, patches, and backups.
Requirements
* Fundamental Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Office 365, and common productivity software.
* Networking Expertise: Proficiency in networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
* Hardware Experience: Familiarity with desktop, laptop, or server hardware troubleshooting and repair is desirable.
* Server and Backup Infrastructure: Experience with server and backup infrastructure is required.
In this role, you will work closely with the team to address complex problems, implement new technologies, and enhance client systems. You will also educate users on maximizing their current tools while staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends.
