About the role
The Application Architect (Duck Creek) will identify the applications in the Duck Creek ecosystem, required to operationalise business objectives, how the components of all the applications relate to each other, and how they will support business needs. The Application Architect (Duck Creek) will identify and address application and data issues that affect application integrity as well as cross-capability and cross-release issues that impact the business architecture integrity. They transform customer requirements into user and application requirements and perform design reviews.
What you’ll do
4. Work across Architecture teams to ensure the application components align with the application architecture and meet application performance goals.
5. Identify cross-capability and cross-release issues that affect business architecture integrity.
6. Examine application architecture, low-level design, code, quality, and deployment architecture.
7. Transforms customer requirements into user and applications.
8. Proactively address technical issues and risks that could impact maintenance release schedules.
9. Mentor and train project team members and peers, both internal and partners.
What you’ll bring
10. Strong understanding of P&C insurance E2E Policy & Billing lifecycles and other components.
11. Strong understanding of Duck Creek Anywhere APIs, MVVM architecture.
12. Experience in 8.x Policy Active Delivery, and Billing modules best practices and DevOps and automated testing with related tooling.
13. Duck Creek bootcamp trained & certified required.
14. Knowledge of Personal, Injury & Commercial Insurance products highly desirable.
15. Experience/knowledge of software development life cycle for P&C insurance software.
16. Extensive Technology design experience and E2E Duck Creek product knowledge.
