Job Description
As a seasoned credit professional, you will lead responsible lending decisions that support both our customers and business growth. You will play a key role in leading complex applications, financial statement reviews, and key account facility assessments. Your ability to interpret trends, develop risk-based tools, and drive system improvements will help deliver smarter decisions at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess and underwrite equipment finance applications in line with credit policies and authority levels
2. Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed credit submissions for retail and key account customers
3. Analyse portfolio trends to identify and mitigate credit and capital risk exposure
4. Recommend alternative finance structures to achieve optimal outcomes for the business and customers
5. Review and maintain credit limits, conditions, and securities for key account facilities
6. Ensure compliance with credit policies, legal, regulatory, and privacy requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, asset finance or a senior credit underwriting role
* Strong financial acumen with demonstrated expertise in interpreting and analysing financial statements
* Proven ability to lead, mentor and influence others across cross-functional teams
* Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
* Effective time management and organisational skills
* Confident with computer systems and able to learn new platforms quickly
