Pet Valu Keyholder Job Description:
We are a retail operation dedicated to providing food and supplies for pets. As a key holder, you will assist with ensuring great execution in our stores and invest time with customers.
Our ideal candidate is passionate about pets and has experience in retail or customer service. You will be responsible for recommending products, assisting with operations, and representing the store in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cashier and customer sales interaction
* Merchandise order preparation and banking paperwork management
* Stock placement of small items in the sales area
* Store maintenance tasks including sweeping, dusting, and general upkeep
* Assisting with unloading delivery vehicles and stock organization
* Opening and closing the store following company procedures
* ACE team goal assignment when necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer service roles
* Working knowledge of POS systems
* Strong customer service skills with an outgoing and friendly personality
* Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively
* Flexibility in work schedule according to business needs
* Reliable means of transportation and a valid driver's license (may be required)
