Our client is a successful design and construct builder based in Redland Bay and recognised for their luxury customs homes using the highest quality and innovative materials, meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Due to their ongoing success, this family based business is ready welcome a junior Site Supervisor into their management team. This is an absolute unique opportunity for
**"Gun leading hand"** to get off the tools and focus their skills on Site Management in an official capacity.
If you are a trade qualified carpenter ready to officially manage sites, trades, suppliers, interact with clients and most importantly rack up time towards your Builder's licence then consider what is on offer. You will be off the tools but your nail belt won't far away as at times it will "all hands on deck" to get any job done whether it be helping to throw up trusses or adjusting a kitchen hinge prior to handover.
**The Role**
- Site preparation, land clearing
- Demolition management
- Supervise all stages of construction, initially shadowing an experienced Site Supervisor
- Trade management
- Supplier liaison, pick and deliver of materials
- Liaise with clients
- Site Safety and manage site cleanliness
- Manage defects / maintenance matters
- Monday to Friday 6.30am to 4.30pm
**The Person**
- Completed Cert III in Carpentry
- Currently studying or completed Cert IV Building and Construction
- Minimum 4 years in construction
- Experienced as leading hand carpenter, custom homes an advantage
- Confident in their knowledge of NCC
- Current QBCC carpenter trade licence or Site Supervisor licence
- Possess a great "can do attitude", polite customer service manner
- Capable of managing trades and suppliers through clear communication
- Computer literate and willingness to learn new software
- Proven capability to read plans and engineering documentation
- High attention to detail and care
**The Offer**
- Salary $80-$90K + Super and fully maintained Hi-lux ute
- Mentoring and training in all aspects of Site Management
- Qualified recognised Site Supervisor time towards your Builder's licence
