Materials Engineer Role
The role is responsible for providing technical expertise in construction material selection, assessment, and durability for structural engineering projects. A permanent opportunity exists in our office.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct condition assessments of structures consisting of concrete, steel, and other materials.
* Undertake site inspections and prepare inspection reports.
* Develop remedial specifications including advice on material type and selection.
* Develop durability plans for major infrastructure projects.
* Assess and determine environmental exposure classes for concrete and steel elements.
* Coordinate with project teams and other disciplines.
* Develop fee proposals and assist with submissions for projects.
* Assist with project management of projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in Materials / Structural / Civil Engineering. Relevant post graduate experience and practical experience in materials assessment, selection, and inspection within a range of structures and environments are required.
