About the Opportunity We're on the lookout for a creative, dynamic and strategic Head of Marketing Events to join our Communications Brand team.
In this hands-on leadership role, you'll bring the JackJumpers' story to life—driving campaigns, elevating the fan experience and shaping the marketing direction for both our NBL program and our new Tasmanian WNBL team.
Reporting to the General Manager – Communications Brand, this is a full-time, permanent position with weekend work required during NBL and WNBL seasons.
Key Responsibilities Develop campaigns, communications and initiatives that make game days unforgettable and deepen our connection with fans Drive marketing communications including EDMs, email strategy, database segmentation, automation and optimisation through data analysis Lead digital strategy across social media, website, content marketing and CRM Collaborate with operations and events teams to deliver world-class entertainment and fan activations Establish and execute marketing plans that support all key revenue drivers—memberships, ticketing, digital, merchandise and corporate hospitality Ensure brand consistency and strength across all channels, campaigns and touchpoints Oversee creative development for campaigns, storytelling and visual identity that truly reflect who we are as a club Champion a fan-first culture, making sure everything we put out there speaks to the heart of Tasmania and the JackJumpers community Use fan insights and data to continually refine marketing initiatives and engagement strategies Act as the connective tissue between marketing, design, partnerships, community and content functions, supporting teams across the business with their campaigns and initiatives What Success Looks Like You'll know you're thriving when members keep coming back season after season and fans leave games buzzing.

About You Degree or diploma in Marketing, Events, Brand Experience, Communications or Content—or equivalent professional experience Genuine interest in basketball or sports is a real advantage Experience in brand activation, marketing and commercial integration in fast-paced, dynamic environments Strong skills in creating content that connects—whether that's sharp copy, video production or visual design JackJumpers Values At the JackJumpers, we MARCH.
