About the Role
In this position, you will support clients in becoming self-sufficient and leading fulfilling lives by providing person-centered care, community access, and personal assistance. You will work across various residential homes in Melbourne and Bayside areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with Team Leaders to develop and implement Person-Centred Plans (PCPs), promoting independent living skills through formal and informal teaching methods.
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including medication management, personal hygiene, food preparation, dressing, and mealtime support, maintaining professional integrity and confidentiality.
* Keep accurate records of medical, behavioral, and financial documentation, adhering to guidelines and ensuring receipt collection and storage when handling resident funds.
* Complete administrative tasks like payroll, compliance reports, and client procedural paperwork on time and accurately, following our policies, procedures, and WHS standards.
Requirements:
* Certificate III or IV in Disability Services
* Current Victorian Driver's License
* First Aid and CPR Certification
* NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
* NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate - Quality, Safety & You
* Working with Children Check Victoria for paid employment
