Job Description
Responsibilities
* Personal care, group and individual social support
* Shopping for participants
* Respite
* Transporting participants to and from appointments
* Domestic Assistance and meal preparation
Desired Skills and Experience
* Have experience working with people with disabilities or the elderly
* Have the ability to work independently and within teams
* Respect the rights and dignity of participants
* Certificate 3 in Disabilities or Aged Care
* Disability Worker Screening Clearance / Positive Notice Yellow Card (or willingness to obtain)
* Current police check (or willingness to get one)
* First aid/CPRcertificate
* Drivers' license with own registered, fully insured vehicle
* Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills,
* Ability to resolve minor task-related problems, teamwork, adaptability and commitment to learning and development.
