Position Description With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their collaborative team on a long term basis, and cement strong relationships to facilitate future company growth and success. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the role will include but not be limited to: Coordinate and process end to end Accounts Payable operations Accurate processing of invoices daily Ensure timely payment of supplier invoices through the payment runs Reconcile supplier statements, monitor billing status, and address discrepancies Oversee Accounts Payable inboxes and liaise with relevant stakeholders to resolve queries Manage and reconcile petty cash Assist with the set up of supplier accounts Collaborate, foster and build relationships with key stakeholders (both internal and external) Complete relevant end of month processes Assist with streamlining and contribute to process improvement initiatives Ad hoc tasks as required to assist the finance team Ideal Candidate The successful applicant will have proven experience (5 years) in a similar Accounts Payable role, as well as the following attributes: Personable & empathetic nature with an excellent ability to build relationships with key stakeholders Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail with an ability to prioritise own work and resolve any issues A positive up beat nature and excellent time management skills Desire to thrive in a collaborative environment whilst proactively working autonomously and ensuring high quality work Genuine desire to provide first class customer service Organisational Profile Our client is a key organisation and instantly recognisable within their industry, located in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs.
