This is a specialist position focused on internal centre support, funding compliance, debt minimisation, and financial accuracy across our services. This is not a parent-facing customer service role. You will work directly with Centre Directors and liaise closely with Head Office to ensure centres are financially compliant, subsidy-accurate, and operationally aligned. About the Role As our Childcare Funding & Compliance Officer, you will take ownership of subsidy accuracy, account audits, and debt management across multiple services. You will - Partner with Centre Directors to review parent accounts and identify discrepancies - Interpret childcare financial data and investigate billing irregularities - Oversee Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) accuracy - Navigate Centrelink and PRODA systems to resolve funding issues - Conduct audits on overdue accounts and identify systemic errors - Monitor debt levels and implement strategies to minimise outstanding balances - Ensure exiting children are finalised correctly within 4 weeks - Analyse data trends to prevent recurring CCS errors - Provide operational guidance to Directors managing their own administration Key Deliverables - Minimise centre debt exposure - Reduce CCS and ACCS processing errors - Ensure timely and compliant exit processing (within 4 weeks) - Strengthen financial accountability across services About You This role requires financial confidence and childcare funding knowledge. You will bring - Experience in childcare administration, centre leadership, or funding compliance - Strong working knowledge of CCS, ACCS, Centrelink, and PRODA systems - Ability to read and interpret parent account statements and identify discrepancies - Financial literacy and confidence analysing account data - Experience conducting audits and reviewing overdue accounts - High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability - Confidence working with Directors and internal stakeholders - A proactive, solution-focused mindset This role would suit - A former Centre Director who managed their own administration and accounts - A childcare finance/compliance professional - Someone with strong childcare subsidy expertise and financial acumen - Privately owned, growing organisation - Strong operational leadership team - Opportunity to influence financial performance across multiple centres - Career progression within a reputable provider - Supportive and structured Head Office environment Apply now or contact or for more information.
