Senior Video Producer
The Senior Video & Multimedia Producer provides leadership, coordination and oversight of video and audio content that relates to the learning and teaching activities of the University.
In consultation with a range of stakeholders, they create a high level of content, provide high level advice, recommendations and support to University stakeholders in effective management and use of video and audio within the University.
The Senior Video Producer role is full time position at a HEP 7, $97,863 - $105,932 classification working 36.75 hours per week over a continuing contract period.
An example of your responsibilities or duties you may perform will include:
* Lead a small team of video and multimedia producers engaged in content creation across the university.
* Liaise with stakeholders to assess their video, audio and livestreaming production requirements and provide advice and support to produce content that meets their needs.
* Manage and prepare production and post-production equipment and provide advice and recommendations on the future purchase of equipment.

Desirable Experience
* Extensive video production experience with a proven track record in creating high-quality video and multimedia content, ideally in educational, corporate, or institutional settings
* Leadership and team management skills with experience supervising creative teams and coordinating complex production workflows across multiple stakeholders
* Technical expertise in professional video equipment, editing software, audio production, and livestreaming technologies
* Strategic creative vision with the ability to translate organizational messaging into compelling visual narratives that engage diverse audiences and drive enrollment outcomes
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with university faculty, marketing teams, and external partners while managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Educational sector understanding or experience working within higher education environments, with appreciation for academic culture and student engagement strategies
* Project management capabilities including budget oversight, timeline management, and equipment procurement recommendations
* Adaptability and innovation mindset to stay current with emerging video technologies and digital marketing trends while maintaining production quality standards
* Relevant qualifications in video production, multimedia, communications, or related field, with professional development in digital content creation preferred
