Responsibilities
* Primary focus: Configure and manage routers, switches, VLANs, and Wireless Access Points (WAP). You'll be the go-to expert for network administration and performance.
* Secondary focus: Support and maintain Windows Servers, Hyper‑V environments, and critical infrastructure.
* Provide escalation support for desktop issues and ensure smooth IT operations across the business.
* Plan and execute network upgrades, troubleshoot connectivity issues and maintain security standards.
Qualifications
* Four or more years of experience in Network Administration and IT Systems.
* Strong hands‑on skills with network technologies: VLANs, WAPs, DNS, DHCP, VPN, patching and switch configuration.
* Familiarity with server technologies: Hyper‑V, clustering, storage and virtual machines.
* Comfortable with Microsoft 365, Active Directory and enterprise‑grade security solutions.
* Bonus points for experience with MDM tools (Intune, NinjaOne, JAMF) and backup solutions like Veeam.
* Must have:
o A valid driver's licence and your own car.
o Live close to the Northern Beaches for easy access to our Mona Vale site.
o Any network‑related certifications will be a big plus.
