We are seeking a Full Time or Part Time Registered Nurses with experience in Recovery. The position offered on either a full-time or permanent part-time basis as mutually agreed.
Competitive Salary Package paying between $30-$50 per hour depending on increment year and level

About the role
As a Registered Nurse in the Recovery department you will be responsible for safely caring for the Recovery of Theatre patients
Day to day responsibilities include
1. Functions as a member of the health care team
2. Facilitates effective communication
3. Is familiar with the area, emergency equipment and protocols
4. Competent in airway management
5. Seeks support and advice for medical assistance as required
6. Receives verbal handover from scout and anaesthetist
7. Monitors and responds to clinical needs
8. Assess pain relief and ensures prompt administration of analgesia
9. Documents on recovery chart all observations
10. Ensure appropriate handover on discharge
Skills & Experience
11. Bachelor of Nursing
12. Current AHPRA registration
13. Minimum 2 years of experience
14. Demonstrated experience as a Registered Nurse within Recovery Department
