Panthers North Richmond is currently seeking a passionate and highly skilled Chef to join our vibrant team. Our venue is committed to delivering exceptional food and service in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for a culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in producing high-quality dishes. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and execute high-quality meals according to the menu and seasonal offerings. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in accordance with health regulations. Ensure consistency in food presentation and portion control. Assist in menu development, including specials and new dish creations. Supervise and train junior kitchen staff and apprentices. Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation. Maintain cost control through efficient use of ingredients and minimising wastage. Collaborate with management to meet customer expectations and drive food quality standards. Requirements: Proven experience as a Chef in a busy hospitality environment. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification. Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (Food Safety Supervisor certificate preferred). Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Passion for food, creativity, and an eye for detail.
