This temporary to permanent position is offered on casual basis working full‐time hours with the possibility to be transferred to permanent basis for the right candidate, with an immediate start available.
- Temporary to permanent position for the right candidate.
- Bunbury location.
- $70k + Super on a yearly basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide administration and accounting support to the management team.
- Assist with cost control and time entry/payroll support to the accountant.
- Support HR and other office functions where required.
- Process weekly timesheets for employees and subcontractors and enter them into the payroll system, followed by weekly payroll processing and distribution of funds.
- Maintain records of all financial transactions, such as purchase orders, invoices, and statements, managed through MEX and MYOB.
- Meet organisational objectives in the relevant areas.
- Prepare and follow up on accounts payable and receivable as requested by the accountant.
- Perform reconciliations and checks of timesheets and accounts for accountant approval.
- Prepare analysis of accounts and job costs and produce weekly and monthly reports.
- Establish yourself professionally to meet company standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years' experience in accounts/administration.
- Previous experience with MYOB.
- Previous experience performing payroll duties.
- Ability to assist with all‐rounder duties (reception, office administration, payable, etc.).
- Great communication, writing, interpersonal skills, and an ethical mindset.
- Ability to problem‐solve and be solution orientated.
- Ability to work alongside management.
- Familiarity with accounting packages and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Certificate in Business or Accounting – desirable.
