Are you an aspiring teacher looking to begin your training in September 2026? Teaching Personnel Liverpool are supporting a mainstream secondary school to recruit Future Teachers to join TP's established Future Teacher Programme, offering a direct route into teaching through a SCITT pathway.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are passionate about pursuing a career in education and want a structured, fully supported route into Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking motivated and ambitious graduates who are looking to train as secondary school teachers. The school is particularly interested in applicants specialising in:
* English
* Maths
* Science
To be considered, applicants must have:
* An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area
* GCSEs (including English and Maths)
* A genuine desire to become a qualified teacher
* Strong communication skills and a positive approach to working with young people
Programme Overview
The Future Teacher Programme provides a gradual and supported transition into the teaching role. Successful applicants will:
* Begin working within the school in September 2026
* Gain hands‐on classroom experience from day one
* Work alongside experienced teachers and department leads
* Receive structured CPD and mentoring from both the school and Teaching Personnel
* Build confidence in lesson delivery, behaviour management, and planning
* Progress onto a SCITT training route to gain Quaified Teacher Status (QTS)
After an initial term, successful candidates will transition onto the school's permanent staffing structure as trainee teachers.
What the Role Involves
* Supporting teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4
* Working 1:1 or with small groups to raise attainment
* Gaining experience in classroom management and lesson routines
* Assisting with planning and delivering activities
* Becoming gradually more involved in teaching responsibilities as confidence growsParticipating in department life, meetings, and whole‐school training
