Nursery assistant horticulturist (macquarie park)

Position Summary

Join our Green team as a Horticulturist | Sales Team Member, where you'll immerse yourself in the world of plants and engage deeply with customers, peers, and guests. Your expertise will extend beyond plant care to educating and guiding customers, creating an setting where their relationship with plants flourishes. Adept at both sales and service, you'll cultivate strong customer relationships while contributing your plant knowledge to inform our buying decisions.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Interact with customers, providing guidance and addressing inquiries related to plant and allied product purchases.
• Prepare plant labels and generate informative tickets with essential plant family details.
• Align with the merchandising framework by placing price tickets accurately.
• Contribute to the packing and dispatch of plants and allied products for our Eden and Gro stores, as well as e-commerce orders.
• Maintain the integrity of ticketing, ensuring visibility and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to design and implement visually appealing plant displays.
• Uphold employee standards, including uniform adherence, grooming, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage.
