This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing warehousing and parts movements across the main manufacturing facility as well as three satellite sites, ensuring the seamless flow of inventory & stock control.
You'll be instrumental in driving efficiency, ensuring compliance, and implementing best practices in warehousing and parts management and movement.
Pivotal to this role is the management of stock holding, working closely with the CFO and COO on financial management and financial control associated with stock levels, as well as the interpretation of related data, to ensure that the most strategic decisions are taken.
Your Responsibilities
Oversee warehousing, inventory management, and distribution across multiple sites.Ensure smooth inbound and outbound stock movement.Manage the efficient receiving, unpacking, holding, and moving of inventory & parts.Collaborating with internal customers such as fabrication, production, and assembly.Duplicating successes from the companies offshore facility.Optimized warehouse operations by implementing process improvements and digitization initiatives.Lead and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and safety.Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting through M1 ERP/MRP system.Control stock levels, minimize obsolescence, and improve inventory accuracy.Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery.Manage a team of parts interpreters, customer service agents, order fulfillers, dispatchers, stores people, receiving, picking and yard and container handlers, who will support you in your endeavors.What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:
10+ years of experience in warehouse and inventory management in Australia.
Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a warehouse or parts environment.
Strong expertise in ERP/MRP systems and inventory control tools.
Exceptional financial understanding and the ability to act on data.
Experience with implementing digitization of a parts and inventory system.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.
A hands-on approach with a strategic mindset—comfortable working both operationally and at a leadership level.
Australian Citizenship or permanent residency.
