About the role
Join the team at Jasmine Thai Restaurant as a part-time Kitchen Hand in our vibrant establishment in Mandurah, WA. In this hands-on role, you will be an integral part of our kitchen operations, supporting our talented chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our customers.
Proficient in wok cooking, with experience preparing stir-fried dishes commonly found in Asian cuisine. Demonstrates strong high-heat cooking techniques, efficient ingredient handling, and a refined ability to balance flavors.
What you'll be doing
* Assist with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients
* Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment
* Wash and store kitchen equipment, utensils, and crockery
* Restock and rotate kitchen supplies as needed
* Support chefs during busy service periods
* Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar food service role
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
* Passion for food and a desire to contribute to the success of a thriving restaurant
