The Role
This full-time, on-site General Manager role is responsible for overseeing the people, operations, and performance of the business. You will lead all departments, drive operational efficiency, and actively build and maintain a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership, People & Culture
* Lead, manage, and inspire teams and department heads
* Drive and protect a strong, respectful workplace culture
* Oversee HR functions including recruitment, performance management, and terminations
* Manage HRIS systems and people processes
Operations & Systems
* Oversee daily operations and continuous improvement
* Lead project management and implementation of new system
* Oversee purchasing and inventory
* Manage warehouse operations including barcoding and WMS processes
* Maintain strong freight and logistics provider relationships
* Oversee marketing across email (Klaviyo or similar), social media, and advertising
* Support CRM initiatives and drive omnichannel and international growth
* Oversee budgeting, performance tracking, and advertising spend
* Maintain and optimise Shopify and CRM platforms
* Leverage data and AI tools to drive better decision-making
About You
* Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in e-commerce or online retail
* Strong HR and people management experience, including hiring and firing
* Experience with HRIS, Shopify, Cin7 (or similar), CRM, and WMS systems
* Ai implementation knowledge & desire to learn
* Strong experience in Shopify and Ecommerce
* Solid understanding of logistics, inventory, and warehouse operations
* Data-driven, commercially minded, and confident decision-maker
* Firm, fair, and inclusive leader who actively drives a positive culture
* Strong digital literacy and communication skills
