Details: Are you a strategic communications leader ready to shape the future of Canberra's infrastructure?
Infrastructure Canberra is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director to lead a communications and engagement team across some of the Territory's most significant infrastructure projects.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving innovative communications and engagement strategies that build public awareness, foster positive sentiment, and support project delivery. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and work closely with senior executives, Ministers, and stakeholders across government to ensure coordinated, high-quality engagement.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
* Relevant tertiary education qualifications such as in Communications, Marketing and/or Public Relations is highly desirable.
* Extensive experience in corporate communications, high-end campaign management, community consultation and engagement, marketing and/or stakeholder management.
* The ability to work flexibly with some out of hours work is required.
Desirable
* Communications and consultation experience in the delivery of large infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
* Baseline security clearance (or ability to acquire).
Notes: This is a temporary position available from 08 December 2025 until 27 November 2026 with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
