Trade Compliance and Logistic Specialist
About the Role : We are looking for a Trade Compliance and Logistic Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will have two areas of responsibility : Trade compliance and Logistics. Ensure seamless operations and mitigate compliance risks and regulatory requirements associated with trade. Support the product distribution and operational activities of medical devices, ensuring order fulfillment and inventory reconciliation with 3PL and Transport partners.
This role will be located at our facility in Australia.
Responsibilities :
* Ensure Gore meets all import and export compliance regulations by working within the organization of quality, regulatory compliance, and customer service.
* Support global and regional compliance requirements in maintaining continuity with corporate global trade compliance direction.
* Responsible for all trade compliance related tasks and matters of Gore in ANZ and SEAI region.
* Monitor warehouse inbound shipments daily; inform appropriate internal stakeholders accordingly of issues.
* Serve as a liaison between internal and external partners, customer service, and the business in processing orders, resolving requests and issues, and coordinating 3PL activities necessary for product launches and market exits.
* Ensure daily order and inventory integrity between Gore’s ERP system and Third-Party Logistics Provider ERP.
* Monitor carrier / final mile distribution partner performance activities to follow procedures; initiate corrective actions with QA if necessary.
* Drive timely preparation of monthly KPI reports with carrier / final mile distribution partner review related to complaints and service failures.
* Participate in Quarterly KPI review, drive process improvement projects, ERP system upgrades, validations, and operational improvements.
* Maintain process descriptions and process flows for all distribution and logistic processes; organize regular reviews and training with Carrier / final mile distribution partner, 3PL, and internal team.
Required Qualifications :
* BS in Supply Chain Management or related technical degree; APICS CLTD certification preferred.
* Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Trade Compliance and Distribution and Logistics.
* Experience managing import and export and domestic operations in cooperation with Carriers and 3PLs; form collaborative partnerships with 3rd party providers, international and domestic carriers.
* Experience in the distribution of products with complex configuration requirements.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and resolve problems promptly; work within a self-managed work team.
* Ability to reach out to the organization to gather input / content.
* Ability to synthesize information from multiple inputs and check for understanding and alignment.
* Track record of influencing others (internal and external).
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to travel up to 10%.
Desired Qualifications :
* Cross-functional experience within Supply Chain is a plus.
* Global distribution of regulatory products and cross-functional experience within supply chain is a plus.
