Datacenter IT Technician Trainee (12 months), Data Centre Operations, Sydney

You will work with the world's largest computing infrastructure and learn the daily operations of a large data center, troubleshooting hands-on with servers and network equipment. There is collaboration with multiple teams to complete tasks and projects.
Responsibilities
* Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot all hardware and related problems
* Perform basic level OS troubleshooting
* Perform basic level configuration troubleshooting
* Perform replacement of parts and devices
* Perform storage media (HDD, SSD, etc.) sanitization and destruction tasks
* Maintain a high level of system reliability by prioritizing resolution of trouble tickets
* Follow DC operations, logistics, security and safety related processes and guidelines
* Practice and enforce Amazon's Security and Safety best practices
Basic Qualifications
* Basic knowledge of IT hardware (desktops, laptops, servers) and their configurations
* Basic IT troubleshooting knowledge
* Ability to lift and rack equipment with lifting equipment
* Valid driver's license and own vehicle to travel between sites
Preferred Qualifications
* Diploma at University or TAFE
* Linux knowledge
* Networking knowledge
* Passionate about IT infrastructure and hardware
