The Opportunity
This is no ordinary job…. As our Service Manager you will be the key to managing our Mobile Breakdown Services and Branch Technicians, ensuring service levels are maintained and that our customers' expectations are met at an exciting time when we are experiencing growth.
This role is able to be based in either our Keysborough or our Tottenham branches.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Driving the continued growth of our service division (e.g. breakdowns and installations)
* Managing the Victorian based technicians
* Providing Technical support to your team and customers
* Collaborating with our State Manager to drive growth in the region.
* Building and maintaining relationships with our customer base.
* Researching and buying in product locally when necessary
The Person
If you're someone with a background in hydraulics and you are looking to progress your career the read on.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* The ability to manage a small team of Technicians
* Sound computer, numeracy and literacy skills
* The ability to be able to correctly identify and make hydraulic hose assemblies
* Ability to effectively prioritise and manage rapidly changing workloads and deadlines
* Hands on approach and physically fit (some heavy lifting is involved).
* Previous experience interacting directly with customers in a mechanical environment would be beneficial
