You'll prepare commentary and reporting packs for senior leadership and contribute to ongoing management reporting and analysis. The role also involves working closely with various teams across the business to investigate cost variances, identify trends, and support decision-making. You'll provide regular sales reporting and insights across different levels of the business, while also assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities as required.ResponsibilitiesPrepare financial forecasts and provide insights into trends and key performance drivers to support business improvementSupport long-range planning, monthly/quarterly forecasting, and annual budgeting processesDesign and construct detailed financial analytical reports utilising Excel and provide oversight of business performance metricsManipulate and interpret complex finance data sets to deliver clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholdersPartner with business leaders to design and implement finance data models that support business solutions and overall objectivesAnalyse actual performance against budgets and forecasts, delivering meaningful commercial insightsDevelop and review executive presentations, highlighting actionable insights, risks, opportunities, and recommendationsUse analytics to enable strategic, value-driven business decisionsContribute to multiple projects, managing priorities and deliverablesPrepare reports on investigation findings and make recommendations aimed at improving business processes and operational efficiencyCandidate ProfileThe ideal candidate for this role will have at least three years of experience in an FP&A analyst or commercial finance position, demonstrating a strong background in financial planning and analysis.They will have worked within complex business environments such as FMCG, Supply chain, Hospitality or Retail.They will possess a solid understanding of cost analysis and effective stakeholder management skills, supported by excellent communication abilities.A CA/CPA qualification or an equivalent certification from a recognized international body is preferred but not mandatory.Proficiency in Excel is mandatory, and experience with SAP is highly desirable.Culture & BenefitsCandidates who are analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled at translating complex data into clear, actionable insights will thrive here.
