Position Description
The practice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated General Practitioner to join their team. The GP will provide comprehensive, patient‐centered care to individuals and families, addressing a wide range of health issues in a supportive, community‐focused setting. Responsibilities include conducting routine check‐ups, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses, performing minor procedures, and promoting preventive healthcare. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to continuous professional development, and a desire to contribute positively to the health and well‐being of the Yeppoon community.

Salary Information
50‐65% of total billings or $100‐$120 per hour, whichever greater, for the first 12 weeks depending on level of supervision, then 50‐65% of total billings depending on level of supervision. Higher rates can be negotiated depending on experience and special certified skills.

Yeppoon is a lovely small coastal town in CQ and suited to outdoor living. It has a growing population of around 25 000 with many younger families moving here. Yeppoon has five primary schools (2 private and 3 state), three secondary schools (1 private girls only, one private boys only and 1 state). Thriving café scenes, hotels, a lot of sporting variety including swimming, surfing, football (all codes), cricket, running, outriggers, athletics, sailing, horse riding, tennis, fishing and bike sports. There are plenty of shopping opportunities and a cinema. The closest city is Rockhampton which has a major hospital and all specialists available, only 1⁄2 hr drive away.
