This is an exciting opportunity to manage and grow our Broker portfolio across the diverse region of North QLD. You'll work closely with existing brokers while actively developing new relationships to drive growth and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
As a Business Banking / Agribusiness Manager - Broker, you will join the Regional & Agri Business Banking team in North QLD that's doubling down on customer obsession.
Each day, you'll go above and beyond to:
* Deliver outcomes for Customers and Referring Broker
* Build strong relationships within the North QLD Team to deliver #1 in Market proposition
* Build strong relationships with existing brokers and proactively identify opportunities to establish new broker partnerships across North QLD.
* Manage and grow a portfolio of key Commercial & Agribusiness customers – this is an opportunity to work in a hybrid portfolio
* Identify new business and referral opportunities and leverage networks of internal and external contacts to achieve income targets.
* Assess economic value and risk potential of new business opportunities.
* Maintain and enhance the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio.
* Drive professional excellence through performance management and continuous improvement.
* Develop and execute annual business plans for the allocated customer portfolio.
* Personally sanction Banking and Financial Services lending within personal lending authorities and prepare proposals outside authority limits with full justification.
We're looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You'll need:
* Extensive experience as a agribusiness/business banker preferred.
* Strong knowledge of NAB products and services an advantage.
* Solid understanding of business/commercial practices, with emphasis on sales, lending, credit assessment, and risk control.
* Proven ability to build and maintain strong broker relationships and networks.
