Are you an experienced English Teacher or English ECT searching for a high‐performing secondary school with excellent student behaviour and attainment? An outstanding school in the Inner London Borough of Bexley is looking for a Head of English to join the team. The school boasts Progress 8 results in the top 1% nationally, well‐behaved students, extensive pastoral support and lots of bespoke CPD.
We are looking for a Head of English that can confidently teach and lead a department of 12 teachers. The role offers a reduced timetable that can be catered to your preferences, i.e. majority KS5.

Person Specification
* Qualified English Teacher / Head of English with UK QTS
* Clear spoken and written English is essential

* Experience teaching in a multicultural area with high PP desirable
* Genuinely ambitious for all students to achieve their best, whether that is a C or A*
