Job Description
About the Role
We're looking for multiple Foster Care Case Workers to join our Specialist team base at Blair Athol.
We're growing our services and looking for dynamic, values-driven individuals to contribute to our innovation and expansion. Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provision of providing quality carers supports and advocacy to support and equip foster families to enable children and young people to thrive
* Provide case work through assessment, training, support, placement and advocacy
* Assist the placement co-ordinators with the process of matching and placement of children with approved foster carers as required

What You'll Need to Succeed
Essential Criteria
* A degree level of qualification in Social Work and eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
* A sound knowledge of the effects of trauma and abuse, attachment issues and behaviour management in relation to children in care
* Demonstrated experience working within out of home and/or family-based care, including the impact of past government policies on First Nations people.
