About the role
As the Branch Manager, you'll lead a high-performing branch team and take full ownership of branch operations, safety, customer experience and financial performance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and engaging the branch team through regular performance and development conversations to drive revenue growth and achieve budget targets
* Full accountability for branch P&L performance
* Planning branch staffing in collaboration with the Area Manager to meet profitability targets
* Ensuring accurate rostering, time and attendance information is completed within payroll timeframes
* Preparing end-of-month reports and analysing lost business to identify improvement opportunities
* Overseeing equipment maintenance, servicing and workshop standards to ensure fleet reliability and availability
* Building strong customer relationships and actively identifying business development opportunities
* Role modelling and coaching safe work practices in line with company safety policies and procedures
* Providing ongoing feedback, coaching and performance reviews to build capability and lift performance
About you
* Proven experience leading teams in a management or supervisory role
* Background in the hire industry or trade-based services, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, operational environments
* Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to delegate, coach and develop others
* Solid financial acumen, including experience managing profit and loss outcomes
* A customer-first leadership style, with the confidence to manage and resolve customer issues
* Experience working within a multi-site or networked business where collaboration is key
