HIGHLY MOTIVATED RETREAD OPERATOR REQUIRED
Adelaide Independent Bandag is a family owned business, operating in the Retail Tyre Servicing Sector for over 20 years. As one of the largest independent tyre retailers in Adelaide, with a network of over 12 road-service vehicles, 1 earthmover tyre handling truck and an in-house retreading facility, Adelaide Independent Bandag provide customers with exceptional levels of service and solution-based, fit-for-purpose products.
With 33 staff currently employed, and with rapid growth, we are currently looking to expand our team with enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our growing team.
Key responsibilities include
* Following and adhering to WHS directions and procedures
* Production Line/Process Work consisting of:
* Shearography
* Initial Tyre Inspection
* Tyre Buffing
* Skiving
* Tyre Repair
* Extrusion
* Tread Building
* Enveloping
* ARC Banding
* Curing Tyres in Autoclaves
* Final Tyre Inspection
* Maintaining tools and equipment to a safe and reliable standard
About You;
* Previous experience/interest advantageous, but not required
* Current valid car driver's licence advantageous
* Highly motivated with good time management skills
* Strength and physical stamina
* Problem-solving skills
* People who take pride in their work, and focus on quality of workmanship
* The ability to foster relationships in a team
* People who thrive in an energetic environment
* Self-starters with a desire to progress within the business
