About the Role
Are you a clerical superstar with exceptional customer service skills?
We're excited to welcome applications for casual Ward Clerks to support our Acute, Sub Acute and Aged Care Communities.
In this vital role, you'll be the welcoming presence for patients, visitors and staff, while delivering exceptional reception and administrative support.
Your ability to adapt quickly, manage time effectively and maintain a high level of accuracy will ensure you're a valuable contributor in any area you're placed.
Ward Clerk shifts are between 7:00am and 9:00pm, with limited weekend work.
Applicants must be available to work across a variety of shift times.
To remain active on our casual bank, a minimum of 4 shifts per fortnight is required.
Due to the nature of casual employment, candidates must be living in the Ballarat region.

Be able to provide a minimum of 2 referees: 1 being your current direct manager and the other(s) an additional manager or supervisor
You will make an impact by
Providing a high standard of administrative support
Admission and discharges of patients and residents
Participation in an annual performance review
Commitment to ongoing mandatory education
Maintain accurate availability and accepting shifts based on availability
Flexibility to work across a variety of locations and shift times
Skills & Experience
Highly developed interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships within a team environment
Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records.
Demonstrated person centred care and respectful approach to patients, visitors and staff
Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks
Prior experience in a health care setting would be advantageous but is not essential
Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
